What are you up to this spring break? What about cozying up with your kids, watching a favourite flick, and celebrating the magic of cinema with spring break at VIFF? Sounds good! You and your family will want to check out Generation Pixar and mark your calendars for the upcoming VIFF Kids Club.

Generation Pixar

From March 17 – 30, 2025, Generation Pixar presents Pixar’s most beloved films at VIFF for the first time! Between 1995 and 2010, the Pixar Studio redefined quality family films. This spring break, enjoy these classics with state-of-the-art 4k theatre projection, the Dolby Atmos immersive sound system, and big, comfy seats. The VIFF Centre series will showcase a range of Pixar classics, including Ratatouille, Toy Story, The Incredibles, Up, WALL-E, and more. There will be 11 feature films running and kids are only $10 a ticket. Find dates and times here.

You can also enjoy a live music event on March 23, 2025, when Disney Cruise Line music director Matt Grinke’s Happiest Jazz Quintet on Earth entertains you with an upbeat performance of Pixar’s beloved tunes. The evening will end with a screening of Monsters Inc.

VIFF Kids Club

Before Generation Pixar officially launches, kids will have a wonderful time at the VIFF Kids Club on March 15, 2025. This monthly matinee series for families features craft activities and themed concession treats, and they will be screening Finding Nemo. Doors open at 11 AM for activities, and the movie begins at 12 PM. Book your tickets here.

In Generation Pixar we celebrate the achievements of the company’s first 15 years, a run of 11 extraordinary features which left an indelible imprint on children either side of the millennium – and their parents!”
