Disney and Pixar’s latest cartoon adventure Turning Red is scheduled to hit Disney+ on March 11 and our family is so excited to check it out! This movie is set out of Toronto and follows Mei Lee, a Chinese-Canadian girl who is navigating her awkward adolescent years. As if trying to fit in wasn’t hard enough already, Mei Lee is trying to hide the fact that she “poofs” into a giant red panda when she gets excited!
To celebrate the release of the movie, a life-size replica of the adorable Panda Mei will be visiting cities across the country. The Turning Red Canadian Tour is scheduled to stop in Vancouver on March 5 & 6, just in time for the movie’s release! Follow the hashtag #TurningRedTourCA to find out which Vancouver landmark she will be hanging out by, and head out (weather depending) to get a photo with your kids’ soon-to-be favourite new cartoon character.
