We could all use a little more connection with our communities and Southridge School has provided this opportunity at its Country Fair since 1995. Rain or shine, get ready for a day packed with good vibes and great times!
Start your day whirling and twirling around on the rides, trying your hand at the carnival games, and bouncing your way through the bouncy castles and inflatable obstacle courses. The entire Kids Zone is like a giant party and is sure to keep everyone entertained. There will also be face painting, temporary tattoos, games and prizes, and, new this year, a zip line! A popcorn and cotton candy station is available if you need a quick snack before hitting the vast array of food trucks and bakeries.
If you can manage to pry your kids away from the Kids Zone, a fun afternoon awaits as you explore the outdoor vendor market and the garden centre. Catch Southridge students performing throughout the day on the main stage as they demonstrate their talents. The school also hosts a giant family garage sale where you can find great deals on gently used toys, books, household items, furniture, and recycled treasures. And don’t forget to enter the raffle for your chance to win the ultimate Trek e-bike package from the Bike Zone in South Surrey valued at over $3,100!
With so many exciting activities wrapped up into a single day, it’s easy to see why the Southridge Country Fair has become a beloved community event, drawing in large crowds each year.
