For the miners who worked at Britannia Mine during its heyday, every day was like an Easter egg hunt as they mined for copper.  Step back in time as you don a hard hat and journey into the side of the mountain on the Underground train for a special seasonal underground tour. Throughout the tour hunt for special golden eggs. Once you have found all the eggs, trade them for a special piece of chalcopyrite.

Then, embark on an egg-venture throughout Britannia Mine Museum. Along the way, use clues to complete your self-led scavenger hunt to receive a special prize at the end. Explore your way through the Britannia Mine Museum and try your hand at gold panning in the Gold Panning Pavilion, learn about the history of Britannia Mine in The Britannia Mine Story, and check out unique-looking minerals of all colors, shapes, and sizes in the Beaty Lundin Visitors Centre.
