Through hands-on, project-based learning, youth ages 13-18 will focus on real-world problems and create solutions that are truly unique. Students can choose from on-campus or online camp formats that offer unlimited learning opportunities:
Pre-University | Ages 13-18
Experience the joys of university learning before you even graduate high school! Pre-University camps bridge the gap between school and career paths, allowing students to explore the opportunities available and helping them understand the difference between various specialties in technology. Pre-University Camps are offered in person with a 2-week, on-campus experience at the University of British Columbia from 9am-3pm Monday-Friday, or in a 2-week online format with 2 hours of lectures per day. Courses are offered in Artificial Intelligence, Business, Coding, and Gaming. Students will learn everything from building their own AI app to video game design, ethical hacking, data analytics, and even how to begin their own start-up company! Participants will earn a co-branded digital badge from Circuit Stream and the University of British Columbia Extended Learning upon completion.
