Black Friday Give & Win | Nov. 18 – 30
Kick off your holiday shopping with an incredible chance to give back to your community *and* be entered into a draw to win a $1000 Central City Gift Card! How do you enter? Bring a new, unwrapped toy to Guest Services and you will receive an entrance into the grand prize draw. Feeling jolly? Each toy donation earns you an extra entry to win! All donated toys support the Surrey Christmas Bureau ensuring that all children have a very merry Christmas this year.
Stuff the Sleigh | Nov. 29 & 30
You’ve made your list and checked it twice– now it’s time to find out just how nice you’ve been this year! Join Central City and the Surrey Lions Club for one last push to support the Surrey Christmas Bureau. On November 29 from 10am-3pm, help your community ‘stuff the sleigh’ by bringing a new, unwrapped toy. Not only will you still be eligible to enter the draw for the $1000 grand prize, but every donation received during the Stuff the Sleigh event will also receive a ticket to the exclusive Pancake Breakfast on November 30th from 10am-1pm. The Pancake Breakfast, also hosted by the Surrey Lions Club, is a way to say ‘thank you’ for the generosity in making sure that all children have a gift to unwrap on Christmas this year.
Gingerbread Lane | Dec. 6 – 15
Take a stroll through Gingerbread Village, proudly presented by Downtown Surrey BIA for the 7th annual event! Gaze at the incredibly designed and decorated gingerbread houses, structures and characters, lovingly designed with the theme – “My Favourite Storybook” – in mind. Your whole family will marvel at the skill and artistry evident in each and every piece. Once you’ve finished your journey through, you can vote for your favourite gingerbread creation by donating; each dollar donated equals one vote that you can use to nominate your favourite! All proceeds from Gingerbread Village go to supporting gifts and groceries for the Surrey Christmas Bureau to support families in need this holiday season.
