Join Surrey Libraries for a 30-minute program with Dr. Robert Thirsk, as he shares his unique perspective on the timely topic of isolation.
Dr. Robert Thirsk is a former Canadian Space Agency astronaut as well as a physician and engineer. He flew aboard two space missions in 1996 and 2009 and holds the Canadian record for the most time spent in space – 205 days.
Bob is a strong promoter of an economy based upon exploration and innovation. He encourages citizens to build their dreams upon a foundation of advanced skills and lifelong learning.
