If you are looking for an enriching, arts-infused Spring Break experience for your child look no further than Arts Umbrella. The 2025 Spring Break Camps provide young people with the opportunity to discover new artistic passions in the disciplines of art, design, dance, theatre, music and film.
Arts Umbrella is the pre-eminent arts educational facility in British Columbia. Since 1979, Arts Umbrella has provided more than 500,000 young Canadians with profound life experiences through their commitment to innovation, excellence, and inclusivity. In April 2021, Arts Umbrella moved into their new home on Granville Island. The 50,000-square-foot building dedicated to arts education for young people features state-of-the-art studio, exhibition, and performance spaces to inspire future generations. Arts Umbrella also supports arts education for families on the east side of the Port Mann Bridge with its satellite location in Surrey Centre. What makes Arts Umbrella special is not only the breadth of its course offerings, but also the variety of classes for different ages. Children aged 3- teenagers up to 19 years old can find classes that inspire them through experiential, hands-on learning.For the Surrey Centre location, the following Spring Break Camp is being offered for Weeks 1 & 2:
- Acting Explorations (ages 6-10)
- Visual Arts (ages 6-10)
The Granville Island location has substantially more Spring Break Camps running and includes camps from Art & Design, Theatre, Music and Film, and special Intensives for students eager to dive head-first into in-depth, explorative, and rigorous training. Each week is divided into morning camps (8:45 AM – 12:00 PM) and afternoon camps (1:00 PM – 4:15 PM). There are some exceptions to the times, as noted on the camp schedule. Morning and afternoon packages are available, with an optional supervised lunch add-on. Lunch transitions for students registered for both morning and afternoon camps are complimentary and include supervision.
