The old proverb says that “April showers bring May flowers,” which may be true- but we can’t forget that April brings its OWN flowers and beauty! Tulip fields and cherry blossoms abound this month, giving ample opportunities to explore the beauty around Metro Vancouver. Occasionally, April can be a rainy and cool month, but living in the Lower Mainland means that’s something we are used to 12 months of the year. Plan ahead and pencil in some of these events on your calendar so you know what’s happening near you throughout April!

On April 6th, catch Dan Brown’s Wild Symphony.

Kerrisdale Play Palace | April 8 – August 28

One of my kids’ favourite places opens again for the season this month! Once the ice has melted at Kerrisdale Cyclone Taylor Arena, the rink turns into a joyous, bouncy delight with tons of bouncy castles and inflatable obstacle courses. Plus, there are specific areas for the younger crowd to hang out while big siblings bounce their energy away. Click here to see our experience in 2023!
