City of Toronto’s History Museums are hosting family-friendly Halloween events again this year, including crafts, musical performances, historical tours and ghost stories! While some special events incur a fee, some activities are free or with a suggested donation. Plus, remember that all Toronto History Museums offer free general admission all through the year!

October Weekends at Scarborough Museum
When: October 5-27, 2024
Head over to the Scarborough Museum for Fall and Halloween-themed fun on weekends throughout October, including warm drinks and a treats fresh from the museum’s kitchens, plus family-friendly Halloween-themed crafts and games all month long!
Roll for Fun at Scarborough Museum
When: October 19 & 26, 2024
Scarborough Museum also has a family-friendly gaming adventure! Best suitable for players ages 8-13 (accompanied by an adult over 18), the game strengthens math, critical thinking, and improvisation skills, with a fantasy theme on October 19 and a Halloween-themed game on October 26.
Spirited Weekends at Todmorden Mills

Todmorden Mills hosts families for free light-hearted Halloween fun, including tours, drop-in crafts, seasonal treats and dress-up fun, and historical games and toys.
After Dark Series (Ages 12+)
After Dark Tours: The Unexplained at Colborne Lodge

After Dark Tours: Lantern Tours at Fort York
