TO Live presents “Murmuration” by Le Patin Libre, a breathtaking event set to electroacoustic music, with 15 ice-mavericks performing dance choreography on ice at the Bert F. Grant Rink in the Leaside Community Memorial Gardens. The term murmuration is what ornithologists call the mesmerizing aerial ballets of swarms of birds, and in this performance, the figure skaters combine its athletic virtuosity, the choreographic intelligence of contemporary dancers, and the physical instinct for flocking.
