The Toronto Zoo is Canada’s largest zoo and has been a long-standing favourite of families across the country, and for good reason! A day at the zoo perfectly blends fun, learning and activity for all ages. There are four main pavilions to visit, which are home to animals from around the world: African Rainforest, Americas, Australasia and Indo-Malaya.
The best time to visit the Toronto Zoo is… anytime! There’s action-packed and enriching experiences to be had all through the year, from watery fun at Splash Island in summer to seeing frolicking polar bears in winter. Make sure you wear comfortable walking shoes, because all of their walking trails add up to 10 kilometres! Also on site are several indoor exhibits, greenhouses, restaurants and snack bars.
