The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery regularly hosts free art workshops for kids ages 7–12. Each event begins with a tour around the gallery and finishes with an art activity, inspired by the current art exhibition. Pre-register to guarantee a spot for your child, a parent/guardian must remain for the duration of the workshop. April 5 – Take Care
Use textiles to create wearable pins with words of affirmation
April 19 – My Neighbourhood Poster
Use paint and print-making techniques to create postcards of your neighbourhood
May 10 – Crazy Hats
Customize hats using paper, textiles and more.
