Ontario Place returns with another exciting season of free programming with the SummerSeries in beautiful Trillium Park on Toronto’s waterfront, which offers the perfect setting to enjoy music, arts, wellness, and nature. Support local and international artists for a variety of free arts and culture events, including live musical performances and outdoor yoga classes.

Mixto Festival
When: July 13-14, 2024
Now in its sixth year, Mixto Festival is a free music festival and an intergenerational party that brings together communities, cultures, and experiences. Produced and curated by Uma Nota Culture, see live music and DJs from around the world alongside children’s programming, food and craft vendors, licensed bar and art installations.

Summer Live Music Festival
When: July 27-28, 2024
Take in some free outdoor concerts while enjoying the lakeside breeze at the Summer Live Music Festival, featuring a diverse and compelling program, including Live Jazz and World Music as well as SING! In the Summer.

Wavelength Summer Thing
When: August 10, 2024
Wavelength Summer Thing is a one-day celebration of independent music, arts and community with a diverse and uplifting line-up of musical artists from indie, hip-hop and electronic to folk and global music. There’s also interactive art installations, games, food and beverage, and fire pit hangs, free and open to all ages.

City Hall Live
When: August 11, 2024, 5:00-10:00pm
City Hall Live returns this year as a free, family-friendly event with a night of dancing under the stars! Part of a year-round music series in various locations, this event features a Brazilian samba band, a full salsa band, free dance lessons, food and beverage for purchase and artisan vendors.

The Academy Presents
When: August 17-18, 2024
Next, the Academy unites music and culture in a memorable experience over a full weekend. On Saturday, help judge the performance competition THE TEAM UP, where teams of three Toronto-based artists perform an original collaborative set, followed by the AIRMOVES silent disco party under the Trillium Park pavilion. Then on Sunday, local promoters take over the park with good vibes and snacks.

It’s OK* World

Join It’s Ok* World for their second annual outdoor free festival that showcases talent from Toronto’s vibrant and diverse Black arts community. This two-day festival celebrates art, culture, and community, set against the backdrop of a warm summer.

Indigenous Sounds Now
When: August 31-September 1, 2024
The power of Indigenous Sounds Now resonates throughout Trillium Park for two free, all-ages concerts where you can listen to music and dance on Mother Earth. In fact, Indigenous musicians are creating a musical mosaic like never before, now crossing over many genres, including country, blues, DJ’s, hip hop, rock, folk, and alternative music.
