Whether your child wants to spend time outdoors over the holiday school break or hang out in the kitchen, Jardin Infantil Academy Winter Camps offer a naturally exciting experience. This year, families can choose between two amazing full-day camps: Cooking Camp and Go with the Flow Camp! Throughout the campers’ time at Jardin Infantil Academy, each activity allows them to learn and bond, and every day is filled with active and exploratory experiences.
Jardin Infantil Academy runs full-day camp programming year-round at their High Park location so everybody can join the fun! In all their programs, the professional counsellors guide the children by demonstrating skills and techniques while also encouraging participation and building a safe, team-oriented environment. Furthermore, while providing tailored childcare solutions, they strive to expand their campers’ minds and develop awareness through multilingual immersion.
Cooking Camp
Kids can go from the garden to the table at Cooking Camp, where the participants learn valuable kitchen skills while enjoying hands-on fun at the same time. Campers get to make homemade lemonade together and prepare delicious meals, like spaghetti with garlic bread. Then, for dessert, the group even bakes a birthday cake to celebrate all the birthdays happening over the month.
Aspiring chefs and little foodies have a blast even as they learn important life skills. Even better, the chefs-in-training also get to discover more about the culture of the countries of each dish they prepare and pick up some of the language spoken too. As a bonus, cooking equipment is provided, including aprons, chef hats and disposable gloves. Plus, the kids prepare their meals so there is no need to bring an extra lunch. Rest assured, the program can accommodate dietary restrictions as well. Be sure to bring Tupperware to take home any leftovers!
Go with the Flow Camp
Young nature lovers can explore and enjoy each day at the Go with the Flow Camp! This nurturing, nature-themed experience is designed for children who want to spend time outside and participate in a fun and educational program, but require a bit more time to move from one activity to another.
If your child prefers smaller group sizes and thrives with a little extra care and time between activities, they will appreciate the relaxed pace while they reap the positive effects that nature has on us all! These benefits include improved attention, lower stress, better mood, increased empathy and cooperation. In this camp, the kids spend their days creating art, cooking, performing a drama skit, and of course, exploring Toronto’s glorious High Park.

Campers must wear appropriate outdoor clothes, and shoes, dressing according to the weather. But there’s no need to stress about lunch because it is provided in all Winter Break Camps!
