There are so many different options to choose from, including a variety of activities, such as dance and music, hobbies and performances, and much more! In addition, the Groove gang can personalize your event with optional supplies and crafts to suit all of your birthday party needs.
Celebrate Your Kids’ Favourite Things at Groove School of Dance
Groove offers exciting themed birthday parties at their amazing Eglinton West location, where families can choose from the different packages and themes and customize the details to the birthday child’s tastes.
The standard party package includes up to 15 kids. For large parties with over 15 kids, there is a surcharge of $10.00 per extra child. Each in-person party runs for 1.5 hours, with 15 minutes of welcome activities, 45 minutes of themed activities, and 30 minutes to have birthday cake and snacks in their Food Room.

Dance or Glee Party
Kids can get funky and get their *groove* on with this dance or song-themed birthday party, where the star dancers can feature any style they like! Plus, they can have fun with dance games and activities using hula hoops, gymnastic ribbons, and the parachute, with help from the Groove School of Dance instructors.

Fashion Show, Barbie or Taylor Swift Party
Are your kids obsessed with Barbie and/or Taylor Swift lately? At this Groove School of Dance birthday party, kids can get their Swiftie and pink party going and celebrate their shared passions. Or they can put on a fashion show, which is always *fashionable*!

Karate or Capoeira Party
Do your kids get a “kick” out of martial arts? At this party, they can do some high-energy activities to earn their birthday cake, such as learning a lesson from qualified coaches in Karate. For a Capoeira theme, partiers enjoy a combination of dance, live music and combat moves.

Princess or Superhero Party
Whether kids want to be a brave superhero (or heroine!) or a fairytale princess, it’s fun to play dress up and spend time with their favourite characters. A performer can be booked to sing, act and play at your party!

Sports Party
Have boisterous kids with lots of energy to expend? They can get moving with an active party in Groove School of Dance’s studio, which is an adaptable space ready for any sporty activity!

Mad Science Party
Kids can get experimental with a science party, with help from the experienced entertainment and education hosts from Mad Science. Party guests can marvel at cool scientific projects, such as creating super-stretchy putty, slime, or a high-bouncing polymer ball!

Magic Party
Abracadabra! Solve the mystery of a great party with this classic party theme where kids and parents alike will be awe-struck and amazed by the magician’s amazing illusions and tricks. Ta-da!

Pet Party
So many kids love little critters, whether they be furry or scaly! Hang out with some new adorable friends with help from the popular Pawsitively Pets crew that can adapt their parties to your child’s favourite type of pet, including rodents, lizards, birds and even rare animals like hedgehogs and chinchillas.

Music or Rock Party
This theme is perfect for kids of any age who want to leave the party with a song in their hearts! The event hosts help the kids write their own pop song and then perform it for the parents at the end of the party!

Cupcake Decorating or Baking Party
At this delicious cupcake party, hungry kids can discover a fun and delicious way to learn the art of baking and cupcake decorating! Then, each participant gets to enjoy their hard work, bringing home two beautifully decorated cupcakes and a recipe/instruction card.

Over 15 kids: extra $20 per child
Lego Party
Inquisitive kids can build themselves an amazing birthday party with the Lego Party Package! Busy partiers can play creative LEGO-based games and activities led by one of the fun party hosts from Bricks 4 Kidz.

Puppet Party
Creative kids can explore their imagination and go on a storytelling journey with a special puppet show. Book your favourite entertainer to come to your party!

To make sure the party planning is a smooth process, you can leave the details to the professionals at Groove School of Dance with this package, who supply all decor plus food, including one party-size pizza (one topping, 25 slices, additional toppings extra), juice boxes, and two large bags of chips.

At-home birthday parties are still a popular idea, where the fun comes to you! First, make sure you can provide a space large enough for guests to dance safely, then enjoy the dance-themed party in the comfort of your home with help from the fabulous Groove School of Dance instructors.

Have The Parents Stay!
If you would like to invite your guests’ parents to stay and socialize, you can rent the lounge at Groove School. Plus, you can serve coffee, food, beverages, and more! (Please note that this charge is mandatory if parents stay)
- Price: $50 +HST
Full Floor Rental & Time Add Ons
Do you have a large guest list and want some extra time to party to catch up with friends? You can rent the entire main floor of the Groove Groove School of Dance space, which includes two large rooms as well as the parent lounge. (Please note that this charge is mandatory if you have over 20 guests.)
- Main Floor Flat Rate: $100 +HST
- Extra Time: Additional 15 minutes is $25, and 30 minutes is $50
Spa or Arts & Crafts Station
Your party will be extra shiny and sparkly with the addition of a spa and/or arts & crafts station, such as glitter, hair, nails, face paint, and a dress-up option!
