This March Break, Budding Genius Academy Central Mississauga offers brilliant day camps teaching both French and STEAM, with two week-long sessions to cover all area school board’s vacation times! Conveniently located at the Hazel McCallion Campus of Sheridan College, near Square One Shopping Centre, Budding Genius Academy lets kids explore language, science, engineering, art and technology first-hand. They believe that to foster a student’s inner thinking, these skills should be strengthened as early as possible in their learning journey.
Providing innovative programming since 2017, Budding Genius Academy’s unique methodology incorporates stories, experiments and demonstrations. All of their camps are specially designed so the kids can have an exciting multi-sensory experience, which makes learning even more memorable! In our increasingly fast-moving and competitive society, these lessons can develop the students’ crucial skills, leading to further academic success. In addition, the Budding Genius Academy staff is fully bilingual in French, so they can educate all area students comprehensively.

French — Let’s Build Paris! (Lego Architecture)
Week 1 – March 10-14, 2025
Week 2 – March 17-21, 2025
Did you know that French is the fifth most spoken language in the world? It’s also the native tongue of more than 274 million people in 106 countries worldwide! At Budding Genius Academy, Beginner and Intermediate French speakers can expand their language skills. Furthermore, the campers get the chance to understand this rich culture better and widen their world of possibilities. Activities include:
- Lego building — Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, Arc de Triomphe
- Games — Scrabble contest and more
- French lessons — Texts, role-playing and conversations, listening sessions
- Crepes and Macaron lunch on Mondays (campers are responsible for bringing their own lunch on all other days)
- Ice cream on Friday

French + STEAM March Break Camp (Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12)
Week 1 – March 10-14, 2025
Week 2 – March 17-21, 2025
Along with French lessons, campers in the French + STEAM can also get creatively inventive with Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math! Activities include:
- French Corner — How to introduce yourself in French, vocabulary and pronunciation, conversations and role-playing
- Robot Engineering — Building a motorized glider, motorized GEAR System, hydraulic loader, motorized balancing robot, motorized fibre-optic light
- Art and Games — Drawing, crafts, Lego Star Wars and Spider-Man, Hot Wheels race, Scrabble party, scavenger hunt
- Mad Science Lab — Slime animal kingdom, balloon car, buoyancy, make-your-own soap balls
- Coding & Artificial Intelligence — Machine learning, screenless robotics
- Math Crafts — Math & Minecraft, food math
- Crepe and Pizza Party on Mondays (campers are responsible for bringing their own lunch on all other days)
- Outdoor time (weather-dependent)
