Ashkenaz Festival

The Ashkenaz Festival is one of the largest and most prestigious showcases of Jewish music and culture in the world, and this year they’re back with both their free Summer Jam concert series in July as well as the full festival in August.

When: July 15 — August 26, 2024
Ashkenaz Festival returns to Earl Bales Park for the Summer Jam free concert series, with four exciting and eclectic double-bill concerts on alternating Monday evenings! Along with Jewish roots performances, there are also rock and jam-band tribute acts to attract intergenerational fans from across all musical genres. Bring a blanket and/or lawn chair, and a picnic to enjoy amazing music in this idyllic park setting.

The Ashkenaz Festival celebrates Jewish musical and artistic creativity from across the globe, featuring everything from klezmer and Yiddish styles to Sephardic, Mizrachi, and Falasha music, and much more. The Festival is almost all free to the public, attracting a large multicultural audience who return year after year to experience Jewish cultural arts.
