ARTSies Inc summer camps are amazing theatre camps — in a real theatre! But they’re also so much more, as they offer confidence-building, leadership, creative thinking, and teamwork.
ARTSies Inc. is a performing arts school with a focus on musical theatre. Located in the Markham area of the GTA, they offer programs where school-age kids can learn valuable life skills, build a community, and thrive. This summer, they offer three two-week camp sessions, run by energetic leaders who are passionate about the arts and have plenty of arts experience. Your kids will enjoy a top-quality arts education in a community where they feel accepted, safe, and confident.
ARTSies Inc. Summer Camps
ARTSies summer camps run over two weeks, allowing kids time to make friends and step fully into the artistic process. Kids will enjoy these camp sessions filled with creativity, musical theatre, friends, and fun! Each session ends with a fully-staged musical production, complete with lights, sets, costumes, singing, acting, and dancing. The productions will be different for each session, so a child could attend all summer with new experiences. Family and friends are invited to the live show on the second Thursday of the two-week sessions. Camp runs from 9 AM – 4 PM, most days, but there will be extended hours on show days, as the show is at 6:30 PM.
Kids must be beginning grade one in September to join these camps, but no experience is necessary. If you need before and after care, that is included with the extra bus service. Scripts and soundtracks will be given to the campers so they can practice at home, and you’ll watch them thrive and grow! Campers will get a keepsake video of the performance, too. Pizza dinner is included for performers on show nights, and families in the audience can enjoy 15-20% discounts at local restaurants that night!
