The Evergreen Festival is back for another year, bringing festive vibes and bright lights to the scenic Halifax waterfront. Until December 15th, the waterfront will be transformed into a stunning winter wonderland. This month-long outdoor celebration brought more than 120,000 local and international visitors alike to the Halifax waterfront last year. Bundle up and take in the magic that is the holidays in Nova Scotia, and enjoy local culture, cuisine, holiday festivities, and more! The Evergreen Market is the heart of the festival and is open Wednesday to Sunday. Browse the vendors and discover unique gifts from over 30 local businesses, showcasing a selection of Nova Scotian handcrafted gifts, treats, and art.

Join in on the Waterfront Festivities at Halifax Marriott Harbourfront

The Evergreen Express, sponsored by Halifax Marriott Harbourfront, is joining the festivities this year. This free, festive hop-on, hop-off train makes exploring the Halifax waterfront with your family easy and fun. The Evergreen Express departs hourly from the Merry & Bright Patio, with stops at the Evergreen Vendor Market, Queen’s Marque Courtyard, and the newly opened Cunard area.
