The Vikings are here! Vikings Beyond the Legend, the first ever feature exhibit at the new Royal Alberta Museum, is on until October 20, 2019, and the museum is planning some special events around this very special gallery! Enjoy one of these special days, or simply tour the Vikings exhibit for yourself anytime you visit the museum – the feature gallery is included with your day admission or Mammoth Pass.

Saturday, September 14, 2019, 11 am to 3 pm – Viking Age Instruments
Experience the sights and sounds of functional instruments from the Viking age!
Sunday, September 15, 2019, 1 pm and 3 pm – Viking Weapons and Battle Demonstration
Odin’s Ravens Viking Age Re-enactors are back for another epic battle. There will be two shows in the museum theatre. The theatre doors will open 30 minutes prior to the performance, and seating is limited.
