Participating stores will have a selection of over 40 titles (Star Wars, Minecraft, Dr. Suess, Fantastic Four, Power Rangers, Powerpuff Girls & more) to give away to those who show up on this select day – perfect for the comic-obsessed, or a reluctant reader!
Comic Con 2025 at the Spruce Grove Public Library
🆓 May 3 | Head to Spruce Grove Public Library on Saturday, May 3 for Comic Con 2025. This day of fun will include everything from Padawan Training and Star Wars Storytime with Master Jedi and Sith Lord, to Minecraft Rice Krispie Treats, Anime Character Drawing workshops, Waterbending, and a Trivia Showdown! Some events require registration.
STAR WARS Double Feature at the Historic Capitol Theatre
May 4 | Celebrate Star Wars Day with a double feature movie event historic Capitol Theatre! Watch The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi on the big screen at Fort Edmonton Park with a fully licensed concession available for your snacking needs and a Star Wars-themed BBQ dinner option to enjoy between showtimes (for an additional charge).
LEGO Store Build a LEGO® Star Wars™ Grogu™
🆓 May 4 | Visit either LEGO store location to Make-and-Take a LEGO® Star Wars™ Grogu™. This mini version of “the Child” in his iconic hover pram is the perfect addition to any Star Wars LEGO collection.
