This February 24-26 Strathcona County is honoured to play host to the 2023 Special Olympics Alberta Winter Games at five venues in Sherwood Park, Ardrossan and Edmonton. Come out to watch and cheer as athletes from across the province come together for a weekend of competitive sports and fun. Sporting events will include 5-pin bowling, cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, curling, figure skating, floor hockey, snowshoeing and speed skating.
