School may be back in session, but that doesn’t mean the fun needs to stop! Sassy G’s Adventure Farm is the perfect spot to plan an afternoon or weekend escape this Fall. Come have some fun in the country with 18 different types of domestic and exotic farm animals and 35+ games and activities.


The Big Bounce Canada | August 31 – September 8

Big Bounce Canada is bringing The World’s Biggest Bouncy Castle to RAD Torque Raceway! Book a dedicated 3-hour timeslot and enjoy unlimited access to the spectacular 16,000 square foot feature inflatable, plus “The Giant” 300 m obstacle course, an out-of-this-world “Air Space” zone, and the “Sport Slam” arena!


Harvest Festival at the Reynolds-Alberta Museum | August 31 & September 1

Spend a fun fall day learning more about farming practices and equipment through the decades while you watch some the museum’s impressive collection of vintage tractors and machinery at work. The kids will love the Family Fun Zone with carnival games and a petting zoo.


Kids Get in FREE at Edmonton Elks Family Day | September 7

Cheer on the green and yellow as they face off against the Calgary Stampeders. Come early to enjoy all the pre-game activities and entertainment in the Brick Kids Zone, then sit back and enjoy the Labour Day rematch game hosted by special kid broadcasters and junior anthem singers. Youth 17 and under get in FREE to the game when accompanied by a paying adult – two kids admissions per adult ticket!


Kaleido Family Arts Festival | September 13-15

Join the free family fun as Alberta Avenue comes alive with creativity, entertainment and arts of every kind! Kaleido will bring light and joy through free music, theatre, art, dance, street performances, an artisan music, and delicious food.


Frogs & Friends Feature Pyramid | September 14 – November 24

We can’t wait to see what’s in store for this one! The same great animal experts behind the Wildlife Rescue exhibit at Edmonton Valley Zoo this summer are part of the newest feature exhibit at Muttart Conservatory. We had the chance to visit Little Ray’s when they were set up at West Edmonton Mall and had a great time learning about their collection of scaly and furry critters.


FREE Movies & Gaming at Cineplex Community Day | September 14

Cineplex is celebrating Community Day with a morning of FREE movies, gaming in the XSCAPE arcade, and $3.00 concessions at Theatres, OR a morning of FREE gaming at The Rec Room locations. Mark your calendar for Wednesday, September 4, 2024 to see the movie titles and reserve your seat in advance!


Annihilation Night at RAD Torque Raceway | September 14

This Saturday night of mayhem includes a bit of everything with freestyle motocross, sprint cars, redneck racers, a crane drop and jet car burn. Come watch as they SMASH ‘EM, CRASH ‘EM, and even DROP ‘EM from the sky! 


FEATURED Minionz: A Despicably Musical Parody | September 14 to November 2

The latest production from Jubilations Junior will have your whole family going bananas! Enjoy all the mischief and madness with your favourite wanna-be super villain and his crew of loveable Minionz during this two-act musical production accompanied by a delicious pizza party lunch.


15th annual Lesco Distributor’s Pro Show n’ Shine | September 20 & 21

Kids young and old will have fun checking our some BIG trucks at Western Canada’s largest truck show! This two day event at the Leduc West Antique Society will include Friday night lights & food trucks, and a Saturday Kids Zone with bouncy castles, crafts, and face painting.


Edmonton Comic and Entertainment Expo | September 20-22

Each year, Edmonton Expo attracts tens of thousands of fans for a 3-day celebration of all things fandom – from superhero blockbusters to vintage comic books and everything in between. Whatever interests you, you’re sure to find it here including one-time-only workshops and guest panels with artists from around the world.


FEATURED Callingwood Fall Carnival | September 21

This whimsical afternoon will feature circus performers, magicians, stilt walkers, live music, and traditional Lion Dance. Come hungry for a treat from the food trucks, shop the vendor market, and let the kids have some fun at the petting zoo, bouncy castle, and circus workshops!


Salisbury Greenhouse Harvest Festival | September 21 & 22

Both Salisbury Greenhouse locations (Sherwood Park & St. Albert) will host their own day of fun with trackless train rides, balloon twisting, roaming magicians, carnival games, pumpkin painting, a market, and more. Don’t forget your donation for local food banks.
