Family Day at the OSFM

Head to Old Strathcona Farmers’ Market on Saturday, February 15, 2025 for a day of fun with the family! Family Day at the OSFM will include extra festivities throughout the market including a Bluey meet & greet, music and entertainment from the Edmonton Public Library, stilt walkers, interactive kids activities, and more!

The OSFM is a pillar of Old Strathcona, proudly serving the community since 1983. The market is open year-round, transforming each Saturday into a bustling shopping and entertainment hub. Inside you will find a diverse array of vendors that offer everything from fresh, locally sourced produce to artisanal goods, homemade treats, unique crafts, and grown products even your kids will love! Fun Activities for the Whole Family

Each Saturday you can discover vibrant buskers and roaming entertainment at the market. In honour of the holiday long weekend, Family Day at OSFM will include even more great entertainment and activities, including:

The Community Spirit of OSFM

Old Strathcona Farmers’ Market has always been a place for locals to connect, share experiences, and support one another. This winter, OSFM showing their community spirit by collecting warm winter gear for the Old Strathcona Youth Society. Visitors are encouraged to bring item donations for youth ages 14 to 24 including hand and foot warmers, thin black gloves, non-knit toques, balaclavas and neckwarmers, new and gently used backpacks, new socks, and underwear. Please bring items to the donation box at the end of Row 2.

Family Day weekend is the perfect time to discover everything the Old Strathcona Farmers’ Market has to offer! Come hungry to enjoy a hearty breakfast, brunch, or lunch together at the market’s own Paperbirch café, or tempt your tastebuds to something new and unique from the food stalls. It’s fun to take in all the sights, sounds, and activity of this vibrant shopping centre while you spend time together connecting as a family and supporting our local economy!
