There is nothing more magical than the twinkle of lights during the winter holidays, and there’s no better way to take it in than from the comfort of your warm vehicle! The Canadian Tire Magic of Lights allows visitors to drive along a magical route while taking in vibrant holiday displays and 5 stunning 200 foot light tunnels It takes a Team of Festive ‘Elves’ over 3750 hours to set up the over 2 MILLION lights in this impressive drive-through display!
You can experience all the joy and wonder less than 10 minutes south of Edmonton at RAD Torque Raceway. Perfect for all ages, it is easy to see why this “Slow Ride On a Fast Track” has become an annual holiday tradition for many families.
This year’s Canadian Tire Magic of Lights will run from Thursday, November 21, 2024 until Saturday, January 4, 2025! It’s 2.5 kilometre route is fully decorated with the latest LED technology, moving animations and dazzling lights that will have the whole car saying “oooooh!” and “ahhhhh!” Delight in holiday scenes like the 12 Days of Christmas, Big Foot Monster Trucks, The Towering Dinosaurs of Prehistoric Christmas, plus a GIANT Barbie holiday light display and “Oh, Canada” tribute tunnel. Each brilliant, themed scene can run several hundred feet long and stand as high as 32 feet tall!
Not only is the Canadian Tire Magic of Lights a memorable night out for the family, but it also helps raise funds for some important charities at work in our communities. In addition to supporting the Food Bank, all season, a portion of all ticket sales go to 880 CHED Santas Anonymous and Canadian Tire Jump Start, who work tirelessly to support families and children during the holidays and beyond. Since its inception in 2017, the Magic of Lights has contributed an impressive $135,000+ to our community.
Buying tickets online in advance is strongly encouraged, with prices starting at just $30 (+ fees) per carload! Purchase your FLEX pass now and use it on any date throughout the duration of the Canadian Tire Magic of Lights Event. You can also upgrade to a DASH pass if you want to skip the lineup, which is a great option for those with little ones who don’t like to idle too long. There are also Limo and Bus passes available!

- Fireworks Night on Saturday, November 23, 2024 will light up the sky with a breathtaking fireworks show every 30 minutes between 6:00 pm and 8:30 pm.
- ONE NIGHT of Magic for STARS will take place on Saturday, November 30, 2024, with $7.00 from every pass sold going to STARS Air Ambulance and those who play a vital role in saving lives. Santa will also available for photos with his festive holiday truck tas part of the Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan Tour!
- Mondays – Seniors Night gives guests 65+ $5.00 off admission at the gate (not applicable to advance online purchases).
- Double Drive Toy Tuesday gives visitors the opportunity to drive the Lights TWICE with the donation of a new, unwrapped gift for 880 CHED Santas Anonymous.
- Wednesdays – First Responders & Healthcare Workers Night gives First Responders & Healthcare workers $5.00 off admission at the gate (not applicable to advance online purchases).
- Thursdays – Feed the Food Bank gives visitors $5.00 off admission at the gate with the donation of a nonperishable item for the Food Bank (not applicable to advance online purchases).
