Celebrate Japanese Children’s Day, or Kodomo-no-hi, at the U of A Botanic Garden. On Sunday, May 5, 2019, visit the Garden for this special family event that will include giant carp streamers flying in the Kurimoto Japanese Garden, as well as traditional folk tales. Kids can make their own origami and crafts to take home while supplies last. Traditional dolls and other Children’s Day displays will be on display. This event is included with regular admission and advance registration is not required.
Traditional Japanese Tea ceremonies will also be happening at the U of A Botanic Garden on this day.
