Swim With Santa
When: Saturday, November 16, 2024 | 8 am – 11 am
Location: World Waterpark, and North Pole Place (Located in Phase 1 by the Bay)
Santa will make his grand return to West Edmonton Mall via zipline! Get your tickets and join him in World Waterpark for a fun morning of swimming, sliding, cookies, hot chocolate, and festive photos.

Santa Photos
When: November 16 – December 24, 2024
Location: North Pole Place (Located in Phase 1 by the Bay)
Create special Christmas memories by booking a personal interactive visit with Santa. This holiday season West Edmonton Mall is excited to offer “Santa for All” with your choice of five jolly Santa’s. Learn more about each unique Santa here and use the schedule to plan a visit with the one that resonates best with your family.
Each online booking will include a professional photographer to capture the special moments, and all digital photos will be emailed to you. Plus, all visitors will receive a sweet treat of cotton candy snow from the North Pole, and 2 mini attractions passes to use at mini golf, Marine Life or the Ice Palace!

Slapshots and Snapshots
When: Monday, November 25, 2024 | 5 pm – 7 pm
Edmonton Oilers fans won’t want to miss the opportunity to have their holiday photo taken with Santa AND hockey hero Ryan Nugent-Hopkins! Reserve your spot online for this unique event in support of the Ben Stelter Foundation. Packages include up to 8 digital photos, 2 Mini Attractions passes, 2 WEM Mini Sticks, plus entry into the draw to win 1 of 2 WEM Mini Sticks autographed by #93!
Marine Life Monthly Play and Learn
When: Wednesday, December 11, 2024 | 10:30 am – 11:15 am
Location: Sea Life Caverns
Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the holidays with an escape to the Sea Life Caverns. On the second Wednesday of each month you can join in the Marine Life Play and Learn session and learn all about a new animal friend! December’s interactive program will feature nurse sharks, with activities, crafts, and stories tailored to ages 2-5.
Tickets are just $20 for one parent and one child ,plus $8 each for additional siblings (maximum 2 children/adult). Admission to the Sea Life Caverns can be added on for $11/ person (2 and under free).
Winter Wonder Weekends

Make your holiday shopping experience a little more merry during Winter Wonder Weekends! West Edmonton Mall will be welcoming a spectacular line-up of local artists into the mall for live performances of their favourite holiday music.
New Years Eve Beach Ball
When: Tuesday, December 31, 2024 | 6:00 pm – Midnight
Location: World Waterpark
Spend New Year’s Eve on the beach without having to shell out big bucks for plane tickets – and enjoy an amazing fireworks show without having to stand in the cold! The World Waterpark at West Edmonton Mall is once again hosting a New Year’s Eve Beach Ball. Ring in 2025 in a 31 degree tropical paradise with a party filled with food, fun, friends and the LARGEST indoor fireworks show! This family-friendly event will feature a live DJ, character appearances, a foam pit, a Fire Breather and other roaming entertainment, plus a massive beach ball drop.

Kids Wonderland at Marine Life
When: Thursday, January 2, 2025 | 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Location: Sea Life Caverns
Book your 6-12 year old for a fun behind the scenes look at Marine Life while you enjoy time to yourself in the mall! Kids Wonderland is a unique 3 hour drop-off program with crafts, activities, games, and the chance to see the sea lions and other amazing animals up close!
