The Polar Express IMAX 3D Experience
November 23 – December 24 | The holiday tradition continues at the TELUS World of Science – Edmonton with IMAX screenings of The Polar Express on Saturday and Sundays from November 23 to December 22, 2024 plus December 23 & 24, 2024. Come in your coziest Christmas pajamas and treat your family to a morning at the movies watching the holiday favorite on Alberta’s largest theatre screen.

Laser Holiday Magic
December 2 – 24 | Get cozy under the Ziedler Dome and enjoy a selection of holiday tunes brought to life with vibrant laser choreography! Watch images dance over top of you as you sing along to familiar favourites like Jingle Bell Rock, Up on the Housetop, Let It Snow and Winter Wonderland. Included with your regular Science Centre admission.

Holiday Movies in the IMAX Theatre
December 19 to 22 | Kick off the holiday break with a Christmas movie favourite on the TELUS World of Science – Edmonton’s impressive 4 storey x 6 storey screen! Choices include Love Actually, The Holiday, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation and Elf.

Holiday Fun at the Science Centre
December 21 – January 5 | Visit over the winter break to enjoy various exciting winter activities included as part of your regular Science Centre admission! Design your own Winter Wonderland in the Science Garage, get some eco-friendly gift wrapping ideas, learn about winter wildlife, join in storytime, and enjoy some gingerbread flavoured liquid nitrogen ice cream! Please note activities may vary by day.

Noon Years Eve
December 31 & January 1 | Ring in the “NOON” year with TELUS World of Science – Edmonton. Enjoy live science experiments on the Syncrude Science Stage at noon, including the Science Centre’s unique version of fireworks.  (Hint: it involves 12 colorful hydrogen balloons!) Included with your regular Science Centre admission.
