Back to School is upon us and Code Ninjas is excited to offer several opportunities for extended fun and learning as the kids get back into the routine of Fall! With the goal to make coding fun, your child won’t even realize how far they are stretching their minds just by building in their favourite video games and tinkering with new and interesting types of technology.
Code Ninjas classes are open year round to kids aged 5-15 with all levels of coding experience. Through a fun ninja themed program, under the training of wise and talented Code Senseis®, your child can earn different colored bracelet “belts” and level up as they build valuable critical thinking and problem solving skills. Offerings at Code Ninjas extend beyond coding, with a wide range of learning opportunities to represent the diversity in the STEM fields (science, technology, engineering and math). Ninjas can learn to code in your favourite games like Roblox or Minecraft, discover how to create stop-motion or YouTube videos, program robots to perform tasks, learn how to design and print on a 3D printer, and so much more!
Learning is fun and flexible at Code Ninjas. For the youngest Ninjas, the JR program is visual based and the curriculum caters to those 5 to 7 who may not be able to read yet. The world-class program combines storytelling and game building with hands-on projects for an immersive education experience. For ninjas aged 7-14, learning is more self directed based on their individual interests. Students are welcomed to code year-round at their own pace with the convenience of drop-in anytime during weeknight and weekend hours.

Parents are invited to come tour the centre while the kids code a video game and are able to discover some of the great technology offerings like robotics, 3D printers, Makey Makey circuitry and more. Introductory activities may vary, but there is always plenty to play with and explore no matter what location you visit. You and your child will be amazed by what they can do in a short amount of time with the right tools and a bit of sensei instruction!
