Grove Gatherings – Free Performances in the Park
Every second Saturday from June 25 to August 20 | Enjoy a FREE outdoor performance in Spruce Grove parks every second Tuesday from June to August! Grove Gatherings will feature local musicians, dancers, circus performers, cultural groups, and more! Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the fun starting at 7 pm.
Music in the Park at Stony Plain Road
Wednesdays from June 26 to August 21 | Stony Plain Road Business Association invites you to spend your Wednesday evenings this summer relaxing to the sounds of Music in the Park. Head to Butler Memorial Park for these FREE outdoor concerts featuring talented local musicians and family-friendly activities with prizes!
Rock the Park with Sherbrooke Community League
June 27 to September 12 | Join the Sherbrooke Community League this summer for their Rock the Park outdoor concerts series! Enjoy live music every Thursday evening, and come hungry for the BBQ fundraiser. The Freewill Shakespeare Festival will even take over during the week of July 9-14, 2024!
Sounds from the Valley: Music and Poetry
July 2 to August 27 | On Tuesday evenings this summer Creekside Eats at Snow Valley Ski Club will host Sounds from the Valley. Bring your own lawn chair and cozy up to enjoy a FREE concert in the outdoors featuring art, music, and poetry.
Cultural Campfires in Stony Plain
Thursdays – July 4 to August 22 | Celebrate diversity and learn about different cultural customs and traditions during Cultural Campfires! The Town of Stony Plain will welcome an array of storytellers to Shikakoi Park for this community favourite event on Thursday evenings. Don’t forget your lawn chairs!
Amplify Illuminate in St. Albert
July 6 | This vibrant evening celebration along the river will feature live musical performances, an art battle, photography, chalk art, button & magnet making, body art, a photo booth, and drop-in lantern making!
Edmonton Symphony Orchestra (ESO) Outdoors Summer Concerts
August 15, 16, 17, 18 & 25 | Members of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra will perform 5 special ESO Outdoors Summer Concerts in local parks. RSVP ahead online through the ESO website, then bring your chair or blanket and cozy up to listen as spectacular music fills the open air. Each concert will feature a curated group of ESO members performing memorable songs from all genres including classical, pops and Hollywood. ESO Outdoors concerts are operating on a Pay-What-You-Can model, with a suggested donation of $25 per ticket.
Symphony Under the Sky at Snow Valley
August 21-24 | Join the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra for the Symphony at Snow Valley and let yourself escape with the music in this casual park setting! With two unique musical programs performed over 4 concerts, Symphony at Snow Valley has something for everyone. Bring the entire family for this fun concert event – 18 and under are free!
Summer’s End Family Concert in Ottewell
August 28 | Enjoy a bit of music and family fun in the park with the Summer’s End Family Concert on Wednesday, August 28. Cost is by donation in support of Kids Kottage and the event will feature a live show from local musicians Asiah Holm and Martin Kerr, plus games, food, and drinks!
FREE Disney Concert at Symphony in the Square
August 30 & 31 | Plan for an enchanted evening on August 30 & 31, 2024 as the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra brings you the magic of Disney in Concert during Symphony in the Square! Once Upon a Time is a FREE family-friendly concert that will feature the music of beloved Disney films including Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Tangled, Frozen, Encanto, and more.
