Do you have a young person who treasures the power of words like the air they breathe? Does your teen cherish books, revere stories, and craft fascinating worlds of their own? If you have a young writer in your household, you know what I’m talking about and you need to know about YouthWrite Summer Camps!
Naturally, YouthWrite Summer Camps are all about writing, including wordplay and creative expression. Participants will learn the crafting of language and the power of a story. Instructors and supervisory staff work hard to create the right environment for all kids, using a variety of learning styles. Your kids will feel free to take artistic and creative risks while they find their voice, in a safe, welcoming space.
Of course, YouthWrite Summer Camps are about writing. But you don’t have to stop there! A YouthWrite camp is so much more. Kids can meet other aspiring writers and build connections with kids who think as they do. Campers will be challenged and encouraged to explore new things they’ve never tried, like yoga and writing, drumming and words, songwriting, illustrating, cartooning, screenwriting, improvisation and writing, body percussion and words, and more. YouthWrite has a multi-disciplinary approach to writing and creating, in keeping with the advances of the 21st century. Not only will kids be building skills in their passion, but they might learn something they never knew about themselves!
