Halloween means trick-or-treating and CANDY for all those excited kids! Local malls in the Calgary area sometimes offer indoor trick-or-treating, and it’s a great alternative for younger children. And, of course, Calgary weather being what it is, it’s lovely to be inside if the weather ends up being exceptionally cold!
Before you head out, plan a stop at your local non-mall A&W! They are giving away FREE A&W Kids’ Packs for kids 12 and under.

Indoor Trick-or-Treating on October 31, 2024:
The Calgary Farmers Market vendors (both locations) are handing out treats for the kids, so dress up and stop by.
Cross Iron Mills does not host any Halloween activities in the mall, but some of the retailers may give out candy. We hear that Bass Pro Shops has trick-or-treating from 4 – 8 pm.
Chinook Centre has no planned events for Halloween, but some retailers may be giving out treats.
Deerfoot City has no posted trick-or-treating, but Cabela’s hosts Halloween activities from 4 – 8 pm that includes trick-or-treating.
Market Mall has not posted about trick-or-treating this year, although individual retailers may take part.
Marlborough Mall is hosting trick-or-treating from 3 – 5 pm. Don’t miss visiting the photo booth near the food court.
North Hill Centre is offering Halloween trick-or-treating from 4 – 5 pm.
Southcentre Mall offers trick-or-treating on Halloween from 4:30 – 6:30 pm, while supplies last. They also offer a Sensory Halloween on October 27, 2024
Sunridge Mall has trick-or-treating from 11 am – 4 pm at participating retailers. They will also be doing a Pumpkin Smash on November 4, 2024.
Westbrook Mall is not hosting an official trick-or-treating event but some stores may give out treats.
