Set in a lovely location, with over 100 years of Alberta history, The Heritage Centre near Cremona, AB (north of Cochrane) holds a variety of family-friendly events. Take a short drive and see for yourself! The restored historical venue is a sight to see in itself, with a 1904 original barn and a 1915 Eaton’s Catalogue house, plus a brand-new, magnificent 12,500 sq ft event centre, all on 10 country acres along the Cowboy Trail.
On August 28, 2023, it’s a summer day of family-friendly fun! Not only will you get to enjoy a summer market with artisans, handmade crafters, and bakers, but you can cheer for the Tractor Rodeo contestants, too. The Annual Tractor Rodeo is a free family fun event that is designed to “Educate and Foster understanding of the important role the farm tractor played in the work and recreational lives of farm communities”. This event draws contestants and audiences from all parts of the County and surrounding communities.
