Bow Habitat Station, in southeast Calgary, offers snowshoeing (as the weather permits) right where they are located, on the trails of Pearce Estate Park. Snowshoe rentals are only $7 (+ GST) to rent, and they fit most boots, from children’s shoe size 4 up to adults. A map and a nature bingo sheet will be provided to help you explore the park. This is a fabulous way to try out snowshoeing, right at home, without making a huge time commitment or having to purchase equipment!
Rentals are available during the Discovery Centre hours: Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 am – 4 pm (rentals need to be returned by 3:45 pm).
