PD days are awesome when you’re a kid! It’s a day off school and a chance to stay in your pyjamas, play games, or get together with a friend. They’re sometimes a little trickier when you’re a parent, as Mom and Dad’s schedule isn’t always so easy to manage. That’s when you’ll appreciate the high-quality PD day camps of MRU Camps. MRU Camps has been offering educational camps in Calgary for more than three decades – in fact, this year marks its 35th anniversary! Their educated and professional staff are well-equipped to adapt to the needs of their campers, so they can provide an environment where children can thrive and develop. With a variety of options for families, MRU Camps have PD day camps for kids in grades 1 to 6. Kids can create something amazing, stay active, and get connected to their community. Groups are divided by age and are designed to ensure a successful week. All camps include daily movement and physical literacy activities, such as climbing. Camps run from 9 AM – 4 PM with complimentary before and after care available.

Your young artists will enjoy Creator’s Code on February 13 – 14, 2025, as they unleash their creativity and your sports lovers will have a great time at the Olympiad camp.
On February 28, 2025, kids can choose from STEM-based Imaginarium or sports-based Movers and Shakers.
It’s a trip around the world on March 21, 2025, with Children of the World or Sports from Around the World.
Camps on May 16, 2025, offer a choice between Full Hearts, with community initiatives and random acts of kindness, and Game On, where kids will learn about their favourite games and recreational activities.
