The Confluence Lunar New Year: January 25, 2025, 10 AM – 5 PM
Celebrate the Lunar New Year at The Confluence (formerly Fort Calgary). There will be drop-in skating and then you can head inside for a family-friendly craft and stories about Chinese-Calgarian history. Plus, this event is FREE!
Chinese Cultural Centre Chinese New Year: January 25 – 26 and February 1 – 2, 2025, 11 AM – 6 PM
Join the Chinese Cultural Centre as they celebrate the Chinese New Year transitioning to the Year of the Snake, with a sensational celebration of our city’s rich cultural tapestry. Enjoy two weekends of multicultural performances, a vibrant vendor market, traditional dragon and lion dances, art exhibitions, and more — all with FREE admission for the entire community.
