Do your kids want to have a time-travelling adventure? It’s almost spring, so it’s time to shake off winter’s chill, enjoy some time off school, and get ready for the season in 1910! Heritage Park has a spring break day camp where kids can learn and play through nature and history.
Heritage Park is filled with nearly 100 years of history and is one of Calgary’s top tourist attractions. While the Historical Village is only open during the summer, the Park itself is open all year long so families can visit the Gasoline Alley Museum, enjoy a special event or a meal, or stop for a coffee and a sweet treat at the Railway Café. They also run excellent programs for school-age kids to explore and discover the world around them.
Kids ages 6 – 11 years are invited to check out a spring-themed day camp from Heritage Park. On Friday, March 22, 2024, they’ll join with other kids and prepare for a new season in 1910. It will be a springtime adventure! Kids will be divided into two age groups, ages 6 – 7 and ages 8 – 11. They will meet the ranch animals and ride the wagon into town. Of course, Easter is coming, so they will also get to hunt for and decorate eggs. It will be a lively day, filled with the warmth of spring fun!
The camp runs from 9 am – 4 pm, with drop-off as early as 8 am and pick-up as late as 5 pm. The cost is $75 per camper per day (GST exempt).
