Come explore Calgary’s BIGGEST used book sale! The Calgary Reads Big Book Sale event is an important fundraiser, supporting a year-long commitment to literacy for children across Alberta. You’ll discover more than 175,000 gently used books covering all subjects and genres, and whatever you love to read, you’ll find stacks here! In past years, most adult books have been $4 and most children’s books have been $2. Get your bags ready!
The Book Sale runs from May 10 – 20, 2024.
May 10 – 11, 2024: By appointment with a $5 entry fee
May 12 – 16, 2024: There is a $3 entry fee, but no appointment.
May 17 – 18, 2024: Buy one, get one free; $3 entry.
May 19, 2024: Fill a box for $20; $3 entry
May 20, 2024: No entry fee (note there is no parking at the club that day).
